"old rookies"??? is that anything like 'new veterans'? and another thing...can someone break out the malibu decoder ring and explain her comments to me?

okay what i meant was like all the characters are veterans like always described as these old men but yet are in perfect shape and know everything about their career and people always try to get them to work on cases for them. or the main character is a rookie piecing together he just learned as he got out of college and is so amazing that he solves the case. get it?
