A snapshot of our lives

by iwz 17 days ago 2 comments 26

The content on this site is so raw. It was how we were in those days, on the internet, and before Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, even MySpace. We connected to eZabel with 56k modems on the family PC, and from work or school computers. There was no iPhone. Things on the 'net didn't seem so permanent, or scary. This whole site was open to the world (and our moms, and the congregation).

We've learned a lot since the early days. It's not always so safe on-line. And we don't always know who we're...

So there's this huge blogging sensation going on right now. I don't even know why I want to enter but I do so. BLAH lol!--

I can write, I'm just the WORST at editing my own work. There are some online whatchamaHOOSies that sort of help but, not really so great.

What should I cut, keep, describe differently etc.? It's UBER RAW. I just saw the topic and then "put the pedal to the metal".

It's about whether first time experiencing *ANYTHING* is a real impact or ANY impact on certain people. My...

so i think im just gonna go gay. girls suck and guys are way easier to deal with. plus i could potentially double my wardrobe. thoughts, comments?

Got my trip coming up in just a short bit (so excited & anxious) - Going it alone & I want to plan some things to do in the different spots to get the best out of it.

I'll be spending most of my time in London, but will also be going up to Liverpool & Manchester. Possibly Brussels, Belgium. But definately the first 3.

London can be planned more on a whim & I know it very well, so more concerned with what there's to do in Liverpool and Madchester. Got the concert in Manchester, but time...

Interview 2

by fivezero Oct 26, 2007 52 comments 331

I don't think I showed off my first ever movie, "Interview", because of one "mature" scene. Well, I'm doing another Interview movie and here's a loose shot list:

1] it's dark out, before dawn. a lonely shot. girl jogs by quickly.

2] she sits down, exhausted, and checks her heartrate. she looks around, catching her breathe. takes out a pill and swallows it with a squirt from her water bottle.

3] post-shower, she sits on her bed. looks over a letter from a design company requesting an...

New Movie

by fivezero Sep 21, 2007 51 comments 337

I think this is going to be my next "big" movie. It might be as long as ten minutes. I haven't nailed down the shot list or economy just yet. This is my stab at subtle twist-ending horror. Tell me what you guys think. Give me input. What's good? What sucks? Is it too cheesy? Weigh in.

"WHOLE"

scene 1

a girl is making a brown bag lunch.

scene 2

she walks through the woods with the lunch. lots of different woodsy shots. it seems like a long way out, but she happily keeps...

March 2005 - September 15, 2007

Atlas had to be put to sleep today due to a birth defect in his spinal cord which left him all but paralyzed. We loved him and will miss him so much.

Atlas was only 2.5 years old. :-(

This was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. Put my adorable loving puppy to sleep. Austin, my mother-in-law and myself were in the room with him and he went really peacefully.

What makes it especially difficult, besides the fact that he was so young, is that he...

So how was everyone's summer? Mine was so crazy you don't even know.

Starting off, when I got back from Taiwan I decided to make steps to pioneer. So, after alot of prayer, I quit my job and found a part time job. The day after I turned in my regular auxillary pioneer slip, I had another job offer...but it was full time but alot more money, i mean alot. So me and Garrett talked about it, prayed alot about it, and I decided to turn it down. Some thought I was crazy, but I wanted to go...

Some things learned while in Kentucky:

- The food is horrendous
- Even if you have Analog phone service, you still cant send text messages
- People who live in trailers even think they need to simplify their life
- The Baptist and the Pentecostals will test your Bible knowledge
- People actually stand by the long conclusion in Mark 16 for a basis for their faith
- If you dont have an SUV you cant reach some of the houses/trailers
- Old tires make great flower pots in the front lawn
-...

Minor sidepoint from last week's Watchtower study: Noah's language was possibly not changed when Jehovah confused the languages at the building of the tower of Babel. If Noah kept his language, was it the same language Adam and Eve spoke? What language might that have been? Possibly Hebrew? Your thoughts...

Amazing Greek

by reaf Jul 16, 2007 17 comments 408

I never post the weddings I photograph on here Or anywhere else other than my website because I don't want people to think I am bragging or anything else!

BUT I have to share this wedding with everyone. It was out of this world!.
It was a real traditional Greek wedding. I love Greek weddings I have photographed them before but none of them held to tradition so close as did this Greek wedding. They spared no expense or detail. Everything was AMAZING. There was over 500 Guests. They had 2 bands,...

Weird Weird Dream

by reaf May 21, 2007 6 comments 208

Re-Occurring- Twice actually.

I have this dream where some one asks me what is wrong with my legs and I am like I don't know I think it is vericose veins, so I go look down at my legs and I can see vericose type veins but then in 1 second it changes to how Mystique is in x-men , from my Knee to my ankle, and then spots show up on my other heel, foot & leg. & in the first dream I was just kind of like, huh that is strange, and I woke up. Well in the second dream it was my dad who asked what was...

stupid back

by malibu May 11, 2007 23 comments 301

so lots of people have back problems and i've just never been one of them. not to say i didn't believe how much pain they said they were in, i just never personally experienced it until now.

so for some reason accoriding to a radiologist i now have 5 bad discs. to be exact 3 bulging and 2 herniating discs. now normally yes this is extrememly bad news. but what could possibly make this news worse????..............the fact that on sunday i am supposed to be leaving for italy!!!!!!!!!!!! a year...

If you know that song, we can be friends. It was definitely the theme song of our moving adventure. You know that feeling you get when something happens and there's nothing you can do about it? You just have to throw up your hands and go, "Oh well, I guess we're just screwed." That was exactly what happened to us moving this weekend.

My last day at work on friday was cool; everyone brought cake, took me out to lunch, etc., it was good times. Donovan's, on the other hand, was horrible....

New Chapter

by web-toedchloe Apr 26, 2007 25 comments 259

So as I've said on here before, Donovan and I are moving... finally. (I've wanted to get out of PA I think since the day after I moved here.)

Our new life will be in sunny Norwalk, Connecticut. More details about that when it actually happens.

There's a few things we're not going to need in our new place and that I'd like to sell/give away:

A white iron scroll design baker's rack;
A white microwave rolling cart;
A corner computer desk
3 window-unit air conditioners (varying BTUs)

Atlas the Great

by tesoro Apr 23, 2007 6 comments 196

Except that he lost his mind this weekend. Atlas is my 2 year old French Bulldog.

French Bulldogs (I think all bulldogs really) can not swim, basically at all. They are basically too "dense" a lot of weight, compacted into a little body.

Austin & I were away in Philly for the weekend...(btw, really cool King Tut Exhibit & awesome restaurant called Estia...http://www.estiarestaurant.com/ )

So, my inlaws watched Atlas. My mother in law was up at the pool (12 feet deep in ground pool) she was...
