eZabel was always a coding side project for me, first. I built it as a way for me to practice my passion for writing software while also building a product, and building a community.

I've gradually grown tired of writing code over the past ten years or so. I noticed it maybe in 2018, when I started to enjoy the people parts of my job much more than the mechanics of building software. But, thinking back, I really started losing interest in programming as a craft years before, around 2013 or...

Hey Guys...
Wow I haven't posted a news story in what feels like an eternity! I'm not quite as creative as I used to be. But one things for sure it will be rife with misspellings so as not to disappoint! But I digress...The reason for this post is just to let you guys know that THE WALK HOME is performing a show on March 12th @ 730pm. It will be located at The Sidewalk Cafe in the east village. Also....there will be a few guest appearances. One of which you all know & <3 Mr Funky Fresh himself....

So... guys no activity on this site for too long. We need a revamp!!!

The day ian started "eZabel Score". hahahahah the world was never the same.

I expect atleast 10 posts in this thread in the next few weeks, dont disappoint me.

So, I've taken a new job in the city, and the commute is 2 hours each way. Mikayla and I decided to try living in the city for a while.

We signed a lease on a new apartment in Battery Park City, which is in downtown Manhattan. Address: 70 Battery Pl, New York, NY.

It's in a quieter part of the city, with lots of parks and bike paths. Tourists don't really visit the area, and it gets really really quiet at night.

The apartment is on the first floor in a nice nine-floor...

So, for a long time now I've been having vague memories of this creepy movie from when I was a kid. I wasn't sure if it was a dream or not, though.

I remembered this house (haunted? maybe) with paintings on the walls. Or maybe a single painting. I think there was a house on a hill in the painting. And somehow, these kids in the movie were able to go into the painting, and they were in the house in it.

Then I think I remember kids being used as slaves, or prisoners or something. There were...

As much as it kills me to do this, I've disabled anonymous access to the site.

A few things are still accessible to "lurkers", but only if they know the address (Albums, Polls, FAQs). The homepage, forums, journals, musings, events are now all off-limits for people that are not logged in.

So, that pretty much limits the site to those who already have accounts. And creating accounts has been disabled for a couple of years now.

This is Step 2.

So, for various reasons, I want to change the name of this site today or tomorrow.

So the conversation in the musings got me thinking. So many people either LOVE starbucks or HATE it. Do you have a favorite drink? It's just interesting to hear the customer's point of view. Have you ever had an aweful experiance there? Did you know that if you complain its manditory for you to get whats called a "service recovery coupon" in which you get a coupon for a free drink, any size any drink. Do you hate the prices or do you think theyre fair considering you can customize...

More importantly the YANKEES BEAT BOSTON tonight!!!! Tonight's game=amazing. First of all Derick Jeter beat Joe Dimaggio's hitting record tonight. Thats pretty cool, considering they have both played (so far) the same amount of seasons. (13) And D.J. still has many more to go! Last nights game (of course the one we went to) was pretty lame with Boston winning. There were SO many sox fans in the crowd. Why are sox fans as ugly and dirty as the team? Anyway...

Just so you guys can all annoy each other, I added a new feature to the site this evening.

When you login, you can change the capitalization and spacing of your username to whatever you like. Type in your id however you like in the login box, and it'll be saved that way.

So, while this might be a little bit generic, I think it's an improvement.

I've updated the design of the site with a new template from www.oswd.org. It's a bit more blue, and hopefully not as "antiseptic".

I used to use winamp but have been to lazy in my recent reinstalls of windows to install it and now just use Media Player.

Ok I got the awesome of task of planning a snowboarding trip in mid to late january. They want to goto canada, however the exchange rate isn't the awesome 1 dollar american = 1.5 canadian like it was when i went in 02. So I dont see a point if we go there or maybe outwest somewhere to like UTAH or something.

I liked Whistler when i went there but I know there is a bunch of other places that are just as awesome to goto and alot of people on here have taken trips to canada/western US. So toss...

Alright its been long enough time since the last lan party. I am ready to lay the smacketh down on all you nerds. I am putting down a 25$ incentive that i will place first place above all you in a game of your choosing. Yes thats right you can distribute the 25$ amongst how many of you there are if just one of you beats me. Most likely that will not happen so, if I win you can pay the cost of Gas and Tolls to come out there and own all you lil girls. Now proceed with the planning!
