i use my ipod, because i don't feel like loading all my music onto my work computer - plus this way itunes isn't open, so it's not taking away valuable system resources from my other open windows.
i just started using isproggler, it's a program that takes the "recently listened to" music from your ipod and uploads it to last.fm.
I don't know why i'm doing this, since I can't figure out the point of last.fm ... what is the point?
i use my iTunes. We're all on the same server so we can get into anyone's shared files and listen to their music.
I definitely go through phases.
I actually rarely listen to music on my PC nowadays. If I do, it's through some sort of online radio, like Pandora, or Shoutcast (in itunes).
I mostly listen to my iPod (thanks guys!!).
But sometimes I'll switch to listening to music from my PC and get stuck doing that for a while. And if that happens, it's a toss up between Winamp and iTunes.
I use my mp3 player at work, but before I had that, I used winamp. Ian turned me onto pandora, but the speakers on my work computer are so terrible that it makes it tough to listen to music that way. At home, we have a "homepod" that runs off our music server into our kitchen. It's my favorite.
Windows media player, 10 or 11. I like the UI, it works well. I've used winamp, itunes, music match. Music match was great but it was basically the same as wmp.
iTunes. which I have my laptop. since my laptop has been down, I've been listening to very little music on the desktop via WinMP.
i hum...
I use itunes but I hate it because it constantly freezes up and breaks my computer.
it is a large ram hog ... but yet, it's so gripping ... once it has you, you can never get out ..
It's just so nice to use in arranging my ipod...curse you Itunes!!!
my ears
I'll throw your ears into a lake of scrambled eggs.
I'm really getting into shoutcast lately, too. They have a station called "Mosh Pit Radio" (or something like that) that plays really good punk. Bad Religion, old Goldfinger, LTJ. Good stuff.
