The Big Reset

iwz Started by iwz · Dec 20, 2009

Well, there was a hard drive crash and a lot of the stuff on RedSweater was lost.

Forunately, I was able to recover a bunch of the site's data. Unfortunately, News Stories, Journals, and Forum Topics were not recovered, so I had to use a backup from 2007.

So, it's kinda weird... all the comments and messages were saved, but a lot of the stories that the comments were on were lost. Who knows what will happen now.....

it's been a while since i posted a request for tech support on here...

Does anybody know how to get the WT library to work on an iPad using iSilo?

reaf #101 reafOG 2002 informative

So everyonce in a while I login to "ezabel" as it will forever be known to me to see if it has picked back up. Its crazy to look back at some of the old photos that are still on this site. from like 99'. Everyone looks so young. Some of you I see at assemblies here and there, some of you I never actually met in person, and some of you I just knew of. I just wanted to stop in and say how times have changed, but how awesome it is to see some of you at assemblies and to see how well you are doing. It's crazy how in just over 10 years so much has changed, people are married, have kids, moved out so forth and so on. Well I guess there really is no point to this post other than to say its been a long time, reminisce a little about all that went on here and how connected everyone was and that it is great to see so many of you holding strong. I am now in my 30's. I remember being 18/19ish when I was a part of ezabel. It feels like forever ago. I guess it kind of is. A decade is a long time. Anyway. Thats all.

thefunkyfresh #101.1 thefunkyfreshFounder

i read this and looked at pics from the "eZabel Party"... TEN years ago!! wow...

web-toedchloe #101.1.1 web-toedchloeOG 2001

(am I the only person still on here?) attention tech support: anyone know a workaround for outlook contacts to display the initial zero in a zip code?

flomojopoanode #98.1 flomojopoanodeFounder

It sounds to me like the zipcodes need to be recorded as text rather than numbers, or else you'll lose your initial zero. What are you trying to view the contacts in? Outlook itself shouldn't drop the 0, but if you are viewing them in Excel, it will consider the zero's as part of a whole number and drop them. Then you just format the zip code cells to be text rather than number.

forrestina #98.1.1 forrestinaOG 2002

It's Outlook dropping the 0! Maybe it's cos I imported the contacts, but even after I went in and edited the 0 still won't stick.

forrestina #97 forrestinaOG 2002

Can anyone recommend free/inexpensive PC backup?

flomojopoanode #97.1 flomojopoanodeFounder

Have you ever checked out Dropbox.com? I use the free version of it (it's expandable to a point: You need to invite other people and get them to use it, and there are a few other things you can do to unlock more space, but it's quite limited) The pay versions are reasonable, though. It also can automatically sync files between several computers if you download the program.

Hey guys, trying to find (I think it's an Awake reference) NOT 100% on that. My mac doesn't run my library and this Toshiba is running on Ubuntu which for some reason isn't bringing up my Watchtower library either. In any case the material is regarding themed gatherings. If I could get a shout out pointing me in the right direction I'll just use or reference materials and bring out the BIG BOOKS lol :o) Tnx

If you can make it the MORE the merrier, I'd love to catch up with everyone.

originalsnob #72 originalsnobOG 2004

I really don't have much left to offer, this isn't the last straw (as perhaps Santan anticipated) it's one of many in an attempt to break me. Tonight my family arrived at my apartment. I was super excited to see them my grand, my sister-in-law, my nephew, AND my BROTHER Carlos. I had two older brothers Once Upon A Time. They came to tell me Jeremy DIED.
My brother, Jeremy Eric Martinez 36. Jeremy my brother with the awesome CDS (mostly Nirvana + Berlin + random Salsa). Jeremy who skateboarded, Jeremy who learned Chinese on his own, Jeremy who wished I'd settle down on those early weekend mornings.
Jeremy who practiced my Spanish with me in las Santas Escrituras, Jeremy who has beat me into the new system :oD

I love you <3 siempre
