Snowboarding 07 trip planning
Ok I got the awesome of task of planning a snowboarding trip in mid to late january. They want to goto canada, however the exchange rate isn't the awesome 1 dollar american = 1.5 canadian like it was when i went in 02. So I dont see a point if we go there or maybe outwest somewhere to like UTAH or something.
I liked Whistler when i went there but I know there is a bunch of other places that are just as awesome to goto and alot of people on here have taken trips to canada/western US. So toss out some places to go and what to do. And if anyone wants to meet us in Jan you are more then welcome.

any can recommend a good booking site would be nice too :)
I loved Utah personally - Snowbird was amazing.
and Colorado - Breckenridge was great.
The great thing about those two areas is that there are like 4 or 5 great mountains all in reasonable driving distance, so even if you stay at one resort you can go to others. And you can buy one pass for a bunch of mountains in Colorado. which is sweet. We hit up two resorts in one day. They might have a similar deal in Utah.
Also I went to Lake Tahoe for a day-trip and I liked that a lot too.
I went to Mary Jane/Winter park; Breckenridge; and Keystone. Breckenridge was HORRIBLE for me, which I heard is incredibly rare. So I don't take that ONE time as what it's always like.
when i went to whistler it was awesome, but i heard they usually have more snow than when i went. when i went to breckenridge it was unbelievable
Our season has started with a bang!
yeah, we missed the good snow at Whistler, but it was still pretty good. I like lots of fresh powder at least a couple of days, if I go out west.
what about mammoth?
why fly all the way to cali when you have Whistler probably in the same price bracket... sheesh cali girl... cali isnt the best at EVERYTHING you know...
SHUT IT! he said he wasnt sure about Whistler...or something like that.
Awww...You and I should play a joke on Mike and pretend we are married. When he has to see you all the time it'll drive him insane. Haha... Then you yell out a big "FOOLED YOU!!".

im leaning towards whistler because of the village has a lot to do and everything is in walking distance.
YAY!!!! I'll make sure if something is happening your there!
change the exchange rate and i will be super stoked
no guarantees.. but I put out some feelers.. to see if I can find a deal... how many bodies?
whistler is simply amazing.
whistler was named back in the old days when the original owner of the estate first bought the land. he was skiing naked and was amazed by the eerie "whistling" sound that was made as the wind whipped through his butt as he hurtled down the open slope.
HO HO Hold up!!
Gimme an idea of budget?
Going from a Sunday to a Sunday or Monday, with like 5 to 6 days of boarding. With airfare i hope to be like 1000 to 1200 Max. Im searching the whistler site for packages, had a good one and now it just disappeard and i can't get it back.
