by As much as it kills me to do this, I've disabled anonymous access to the site.
A few things are still accessible to "lurkers", but only if they know the address (Albums, Polls, FAQs). The homepage, forums, journals, musings, events are now all off-limits for people that are not logged in.
So, that pretty much limits the site to those who already have accounts. And creating accounts has been disabled for a couple of years now.

It's not causing problems in my life, oddly enough. I haven't been counseled by the elders about this site in a long, long time. And when I have, it was about silly things that were easily corrected.
