yea i'm with you on that boss. mel gibson stinks. signs stinks... it was sooo long and so unfulfulling. ugh
i just thought it was a whole bunch of suspense that led up to nothing
it lead up to aliens, see i didnt think the movie was gunna actually be about aliens, so up until they showed the alien, i was like oh it REALLY is about aliens taken over the earth, so i liked it cause as i was watching it it was intense, and i was thinkin it wasnt SERIUOSLY gunna be aliens, so i was like thinkin it was gunna be something else, adn waiting for it to be, but then when he was locked in the cubbard the alien and it grabbed him that was pritty crazy...
i'm with you on that too boss. it was so stupid. i mean it might have been good for those who were into the whole emotional aspect of it.. you know.. SIGNS as in miracles.. like the girl with the water problem being a miracle, kid having asthma a miracle.. but that was not i wanted to see. i wanted aliens to come down steal our women and then we have to fight back with ginsu knives and ninja stars.
haha, see i knew nothing about the movie, at all,, so i wasnt expecting it to be aliens and combat with aliens, i was expecting a tense movie , and that it was, you have to agree
no i disagree... suspense.. it means a build up leading to something... but there was all this building up ... but it lead to nothing... thus it can not be suspense.. it was just a hold up. a waste of my time. a big pile of dung. a mother of all that is soft squishy brown and smelly.

but seriously... what aliens with the kind of technology that could get them all the way accross the galaxy to our planet, would invade earth without any protective suits?? i mean especially since they were very vulnerable to our most plentiful substance: water! it just killed the realism for me... sorry
yeah,, but who says aliens are smarter then humans, and plus the fact there made up.they dont exist , so how could they possibly have the technology to even come to earth,, its all made up , so its like a whatever thing, cmon, if the aliens were smart and did take over the earth and there was a battle the movie would have sucked cause then what.. NOTHING.. this leaves it so they might come back with more vengance!!
My thing is that being a wittness makes all that crap even more ridiculous to believe. Like how they thought that those "miracles" were really signs from God or something, and at the end Mel goes back to being a reverend. But we all know that God doesn't agree with any of that stuff (not that i'm saying it was wrong to see the movie, it was just a fantasy to me), so to me it was just really dumb. But i must say it was better than XXX- WHAT a disappointment. Diesel's looks couldn't even compensate for the horrible acting and lack of intelligence that went into that movie.
exactly... all the aliens... being so smart and everything went away cause of H2O???? couldnt they wear suits or stay away from it?? man, that made independence day look like an all-time number one movie
well they could have been from a planet where the compound H20 did not exists... who knows what their planet was like... so that was not what through me off.. it was just the whole stupid crop circle thing and the whole suspense to sleep crap
