Hmmmm... tough call... not really knowing anything about your home life would make it impossible to offer reasonable advice. Moving out on your own sounds good, but it is a real challenge. When I was 22, I moved out to PA to serve where the need was greater. I moved in with a brother who needed a roommate and found work. It was TOUGH!!!! One the one hand it was awesome since it forced me to grow up a bit faster, but on the other hand I was homesick. If you have a good home life, I would advise you to stay put. If life at home is unbearable and there is persecution, then it's really up to you. Just count the cost first and review some Awake! articles from a few months ago about living on your own...
Yo JFK isn't really all that nice of an airport....seriously though I moved and I got know some new people and let me just say, regardless of WHAT your problems are you will have new problems to deal with elsewhere...so don't think you're running away. THEY WILL FIND YOU
