in hopatcong, all the slow kids are placed in the D-Wing of the high school. so when someone says something stupid the question carried over to my school (hopatcong refugees told us) "what are you a d-winger or something?"
In Vo-tech we just called them 'wingers', in fact we still refer to stupid people as that.
