That's exactly what I was aiming for at first (how could I not know about that?) but I don't know the whole thing by heart so I didn't want to mess it all up.
It's a pretty obscure thing Lennon said.... it was basically an answer he made up to the question that they would be asked over and over again: "Why do you spell Beatles with an 'a'". The story he made up was "One night while I was trying to sleep, a man on a flaming pie appeared outside my window and said 'You will be Beatles with an "a"'". Paul McCartney's most recent CD was entitled "Flaming Pie" in homage to this story, too. Go ahead, say it... I'm a cesspool of worthless information...
Oh..I knew that whole thing, I thought there might be more to it though.
