It depends on the people involved. Are they materially, emotionally and most importantly SPIRITUALLY ready to date? Are they past the bloom of youth? I'm sure some on here think "Oh, I'm 18... that brother (or sister) is really nice and we get along and we like each other." Sure, that's great, but can you LIVE with each other. My grandmother had a saying "Love is blind but marriage is the eye-opener." It's so true. Honestly, unless you can support a spouse, unless you are looking towards marriage, don't date. The world views it as a social activity and sadly I think quite a few Witnesses (young and old) view it the same way. Ironically, I think some younger ones date socially to feel older, while older ones do it to feel younger...
