mike...let's observe some things about starship trooper and her comments.

1. she generalizes, and most times, doesn't base those generalizations on any facts.
2. she demands respect from us since we're younger, but never shows it.
3. she has had a difficult experience with her children (as she continues to remind us).
4. she never says "hmm, that's a good point, i've never realized", or "well, i'm glad it's working out for you. wish you the best. it may be difficult for others, though."
5.She doesn't change her mind. "Don't confuse me with the facts", she's telling us. Instead she just continues to insist she's right.

This site is all about discussion. It's a great chance to see how other people look at the world and growing up. But she's not listening to a word you, or I, say.
