you know what i don't get?? the fact that the people who burn them onto CDs are the ones not BUYING albums. but they are buyiny cd burners and blank discs. and why doesn't the RIAA go after companies that make cd burners and blank discs??
because that would be unfair to the people who don't burn music onto cds.
cds have other purposes...like zipping a copy of msn messenger onto one so that you can run it at school, because the gay computers there dont have it
They're not on there for security reasons. ;) If it works after you install it your school is still failing to implement proper security. You shouldn't be able to install anything and the port used by MSN Messanger should be blocked.
And, yes, it would be unfair to go after CD makers. Many people use CD's simply for backing up data.
well, i don't install it...i actually zipped the program...not the setup.
but, the messenging service itself isnt blocked. They have other messengers on their computers already too...aim and yahoo
well there are "Music CDRs" that are more expensive because some of the money goes to the RIAA. I think they also do get a cut of tapes.
but of course you don't have to buy the higher priced Music CDRs. that's just lame.
