Mars Volta is mind bending music. almost nothing like it.

I don't know what it is but I just can't get into them at all. I've tried listening to them and I know every one raves about them but I just can't get past the fact that they sound like Rush to me.

except that flea is a much better bassist than geddy lee. and the mars volta have alot more positive energy, in my opinion.
