they have Kool Keith, who I would consider a very alternative rapper, this year. if you want a taste, look for the track "Sharks and Mermaids" it's a collaboration between him and Scott Hardkiss that was on MTV's AMP 2 CD. Excellent song.

the lyrics to that song are so funny. he keeps spewing it out and nothing ever makes sense. i love that song though. awesome bass line. i think todd actually figured out how to play that bass line when i first bought that cd.. i wonder if he still remembers it.
