i can't listen to them after i heard a LONG time ago that Lauren Hill said that she would rather her child starve then have a white person buy one of her CDs.. not sure if it was a rumor or not, but either way, thats messed up and i just don't like her haha
Yeah she did say that. It was all over the place after she said it. I know a number of people who won't buy her albums because of that.
i talked to a sony exec who happened to be on the plane next to me coming back from florida about that statement...she said it was totally taken out of context. and that lauryn hill loves white people. and wonder bread.
