That's so weird. Here in Ohio, most people call it a "glove compartment." I've heard it called a "glove box" before, when I visit my family in the PA area, but it's just weird hearing it when I'm not there, you know? hahaha...pretty funny.
yeah that is weird, i call it glove compartment too!
As you should be calling it. hehe
I've only heard people in NJ, and everywhere else in America call it a "glove compartment" too. Except that this wasn't on an American radio station.
People in PA call it a "glovebox?" ..Hmm ..interesting. Didn't know that. It never came up in conversation when I've talked to Pennsylvanians, so I guess I wouldn't know that. Maybe I'll trick my PA band members into talking on the subject, and see which one they say.
I've not heard all my family in PA use that term....but it has been used my friend. Oh yes, it has been used. :)
BTW, what's in your glovebox? haha
Well....I've got a greeting card, a deck of cards, a mini atlas, a tire compressor, some grape-scented hand wipes from Bath & Body Works, my Valvoline VIP card, some random papers for writing on, and I think that's about it. I'll have to double check.
yeah, i think glove compartment is the preferred term, but glove box is also widely accepted.
