right on hun! hopefully we can meet up when i'm on your side of the country (which may be soon)
Will you make it here before the end of June? I flee the country at that time.
you moving out of the country??
At least for 6-10 months. 6 months in the UK. 4 months in Ireland.
WOW, that is SO cool!!!! that is to be admired! is it just for pure pleasure?
Thanks. No, I'll be working full-time. I'm sure it'll be pleasureful tho, since it's something I really want to do, even if I will be working.
The reason I'm doing it, is because my ultimate goal is to help a congregation out in a foreign country, like Norway, I'd like. Not missionary work.. but helping in another aspect. So, I've taken a Norwegian language course.. those skills are diminishing, but I'm trying to pick it up again.. but the problem is immigrating. Since Norway has strict laws. So, I'm trying to make my way into Norway, by gaining International work experience from another country that I could get into a little easier.. and although I'm only allowed to stay temporarily, down the road it could lead into a permanent hire, thus allowing me to be a permanent resident of the UK. And, once a few years there, I could legally immigrate to Norway.
that is SO cool! what do u do for work?
Web design. But, I haven't secured a job yet. I'm planning to take a job as a waiter in London to hold me over, and once I'm settled, look for a Web design job.
right on! well if you ever happen to run into bono at a local pub or anything PLEASE give him a hug for me! lol
Going to Dublin is dependant, on whether or not I run of money during my stay in London. I could very well be back in US, quicker than you can say "Enjoy the Craic!" I actually went to London last year with the same intentions as I have now, and came back to the US, quicker than you could say "Enjoy..." hehehe
or faster than you can say "slainte" - lol
either way, it's to be admired!
yeah one of my co-workers lived in ireland for like 6 months before she started here and taught me some words, i LOVE it!
she named her dog "slainte" - haha
I've disappointed myself. I better pick up some Gaeilge whilst in Eire.
Have you said something endearing about the sea?
