I am a HUGE Pumpkins fan, probably the biggest fan on this site. I love Billy Corgan's work, I think Chamberlain is an incredible drummer and when I saw them live with out Chamerlain you could tell something was missing. They were still good but I think Chamberlain and Corgan just have this chemistry. I'm such a fan that on my board at work I still have the article hanging that announced their breakup on 5/23/00.

I've seen the Pumpkins play countless times, the first being at Lalapoolooza in '94. I don't think I missed any shows that they did in the tri-state area after that. I was fortunate enough to get tickets to one of the 3 shows they did in NY, Toronto, and Chicago, before Mellon Collie came out. They only sold tickets at certain locations, fortunatly when they announced tickets being sold at Vintage Vinyl I was around the corner so I shot over.

Gish is a great CD, unfortunatly it didn't get much coverage because Nevermind came out the same year. Rhinosaurus is awesome, I am One is just a great song. I'd kill to get that on the pink 7", it's extremly rare.

Siamease Dream is a fantastic album, every song is terrific. Mayonaise is arguably my favorite song ever (probably competes with For Martha). Luna was my wedding song.

Mellon Collie is just filled with such emotion, I remember running to The Wall at 10am the day it came out to get my copy. It's one of my favorite all time albums, and it is the album I would take should I ever be stranded on an island.

Machina and Adore each have their good points. There are some great songs on both of them.

There are also several B-Sides I have, Sorrow and Pity, Mellon Collie Disk 3, Aeroplane Rides High box set. I also have Siamease Dream, Adore, and a 1979 single on LP. Only the 1979 single is opened.

I honestly can't rave enough about them, I love them, and I can feel and relate to Billy's music and words in a way that is hard to describe. I even have Iha's solo album, that's how I much I love them. I can't wait for Billy's new album to come out. I know he's been working on it for awhile. I hear Jimmy Chamberlain is also going to be on the album. You can check out his site at www.billycorgan.com.

There is only one album I wish I had that I don't, I saw it at Vintage Vinyl once and didn't have the money for it at the time. Ever since I have been unable to find it. It was simply called Acoustic Electric. I don't remember if it was a double CD or not, but half was all acoustic and half was all electric. Oh, I also have Viewphoria which is clips from stuff they did in the Gish/Siamease Dream era.

Did I mention I'm a huge fan? :P
