I don't think I was completely different when I came out. It was just a refresher, to help you polish your skills. My friend's mother put WAY too much emphasis on it, and wouldn't even let my friend look at her book. I thought it was a blessing to get to go, but it didn't change my personality or my feelings about the truth, ya know?

i know what u mean. perhaps i was over exxagerating. but what i mean, well at least for me, is that i changed. Or that things changed for me, like things were clearer.

I would tend to disagree, just with myself as an example, i feel that it showed me so much more that i didnt really know and it was a AMAZING experience to spend 2 weeks with JUST jw's that become really close friends, when i left i was so sad and i wished i could just go back every year.

I guess I never got that emotional about it. I'm a robot.

yeah some things about my life definitely definitely changed after pioneer school. I realized i was handling certain things the wrong way. I had completely wrong attitudes and views about certain things. Just as an example - the scripture that says that the husband is the head of his wife...and the whole 'weaker vessel' thing used to make me extremely angry. Then, the chapter about women's role in Jehovha's organization really opened my eyes.

Basically, I would agree in saying that pioneer school changed my life. Not "COMPLETELY CHANGED" but certain things definitely changed. To this day i think it has made me a much better person and better equipped to be a wife who understands the headship arrangment, heh.

Well the thing about pioneer school is that it's all information that we have heard before but it's emphasized more and we take more time to consider it. The very first day one of my instructors said to us this is all information you've heard before at some point but we are going to be applying it more and seeing the benefits of it more and getting a lot deeper into it.

Yeah, that's my point. I've always been such a serious student, though, that if there were some aspect of service or even a point about the truth, like headship, that bugged me, I'd research it until I got it. I think the sister that studied with me formed that habit. So, PS was deeper than I'd gone, but it wasn't revalatory.

Yeah it was pretty much the same with me.
