Probably just a communication thing. People are going to butt in and offer "suggestions" no matter what. It happens, but you will need to seperate the "wheat from the chaff" when it comes to advice. I'm assuming these are people who are more experienced and probably have your best interests at heart.

if you are going to do that, use revelation 21:8 which says that "liars burn in the lake of fire and sulfer, which is the 2nd death."
