To love and please oneself is a privilege of youth
As we mature we learn a different truth
To love and help others can be a unique pleasure
Why be ruled by time spent in leisure?
To go through life never lacking a need,
Is that the way to truly succeed?
Or does fulfillment come from sacrifice?
Working hard and paying the price
It’s hard to know when things fall in my lap
My head hurts from wondering, I guess I’ll take a nap
