UPDATE:
I officially gave my notice yesterday, that Friday would be my last day. Mentally, I can't handle another 2 weeks there.
So....I had 13 kids today. And after the class was over, the aerobics instructor came in and told me that she and all the moms had decided to each bring me tips under the table tomorrow, for all the hard work I've done and all I've had to put up with. I tried to protest, but she pretty much said that was how it was gonna be.
I felt special.
THEN....the rest of the moms came in to get their kids, and I told them Friday would be my last day. They were upset, and asked what it would take to get me to stay. I told them, another person or two, and a HUGE raise. THey said they would talk to my boss, who happened to walk in at that exact moment.
It was pretty funny to see him bombarded with 8 moms all at once, telling him he's not being fair to me, and what is he gonna do about it, and all that stuff.
I snuck out while I could, hahaha.
I feel love-ED.
haha, nice. well, have you thought about it yet? would you stay with a modest raise and another person working there with you? cause he might offer that.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he'd offer that. But I'm kinda torn. While more money would be nice, it still wouldn't give me the time I need to spend working on the house, running errands, etc. I'll still be working evenings at my cool job, and so I'll ultimately still be tired every morning, and I still will only have about 3 hours a day to spend between jobs.
I want to be fair to myself and my family (and give them some of my time, too), but the slightly selfish part of me likes the money idea.
I'm pretty sure what I'm gonna do, but it's a hard decision to make, I guess.
