I wake up at 8:30, so its not a real problem for me. The sun wakes me up.

yeah, thats exactly why I don't have a cat. There's a finite number of cats in the world, so if I had one, then someone else wouldn't, and that someone could be you and I don't want you to be without the experience of cat-scratch alarms.
