you're doing right in talking to the PO. try the PO of both congs. also, ask them of other pubs who made the switch, and see if you can talk to them. i've changed congs from english to english, but your situation brings up different issues.
ive talked to the spanish P.O. already, he and his wife were the ones that encourged me to come over. I talked to my PO also, and he said talk to the CO. pretty much ive already decided, but i need to consider everything before i make FINAL decision.
so uve decided before making your final decision...hmmmm: do you put your shoes on before your socks? (jk)
