i've used some of these when getting to know someone new, not necessarily romantically, but in general:
where did you grow up?
who do you live with?
what keeps you busy?
what keeps you sane?
what are you doing now?
what are you doing this weekend?
what are you doing next year?
what do you like about yourself?
what do you know for sure? (totally stolen from oprah)
Thank you Summer! :)
youre welcome! also, "what accomplishment are you most proud of?" and "what is your biggest regret?" are pretty revealing. of course, you prolly want to ask about goals and stuff.
Good stuff!
yeah sorry, no. Those are job interview questions, not relationship questions...
We're talkin' preliminary relationship q's tho...basically ANY q's are good because it's that much more you know about the other person.
but don't ask them all at once cause it will seem like you're interviewing him and thats not what it is at all. jsut get onto subjects where you can ask the appropriate questions.
women are interviewing for a spiritual head. thats a big job to let someone do for you. put yourself in our shoes.
well i understand but put yourself in the shoes of a man who feels he is in an interrogation room with the hot light on him and just wants to run.
I'm just saying re-word the question, because it is something you want to know.
you can ask all the questions at once, silly! i would be all: back off, nosey person!
I wouldn't wanna be interrogated either...to be honest, when the communication is good between two people, conversation flows and it has thus far but I just don't wanna miss anything important that I should have asked about. ya know?
I'm just giving advice about most guys. Personally i don't care. And any man who knows Summer would know she is way too sweet to actually be interrogating anyone and her intentions behind any questions are sincere. But most women can't pull it off...
you mean to say most women arent sincere in their inquiring?
wow i seem to be diggin a deeper hole here. So I'm going to put down my shovel, sit down, cross my legs indian style and wait for a ladder...
NO! please don't! I'm curious and wanna know what you're thinking.
i need to help pat here....most women seem like they're innterogating ones cause they want a mate. but not all. like he said only certain ones like summer can get away with it. but others it may seem like and interview/interrogation, as some of these girls are already planning the wedding upon the first meeting with the guys.
Ok, I see. But to bring it back, we're talking about two people who've agreed to "talk." Just lookin' for material.
even then you have to be careful. Guys don't like being put on the spot. THey can be SO wildly into you but interrogate them or do something lame, they can do a 180 and re-think about seeking to pursue you.
aww, patrick, that was really sweet! i think i am more likely to get in trouble the other way, bc im so interested in learning about ppl and genuinely concerned that things are going well for them, some guys may think im interested in a different way then i intend.
those are some good questions!
my questions are sporatic. I'm VERY attentive to detail so i like to look at expressions also when asking questions.
i think a good question is "do you like the every-3-week haircut look", because i do
this is not worthy of a funny tag...Yea, I'm hatin'
you're LAME
it's an east coast "i live too close to bethel" joke .... one day you can visit and then you'll understand
visit bethel, you or your state?
uhm ... i'm gonna go with BOTH for $200 alex ... followed by *EDIT*
LAAMMMMMMMEEEEE!!! lol
You can say *EDIT* but I can't say *EDIT*?
woah, woah! this is just waiting to get *EDIT*
you jerk! i didn't say anything wrong! i said "edited", abuse of powers!
lol, "niice". (family guy quote there...when peter and bryan stay up all night drinking beers to win the trip to that beer factory-the willy wonka spoof one.)
i'm not drunk, i'm just exhausted from stayin out all night drinkin
I remember this!!! I smell a scandal cookin' first thing this morning.
uhm hmm - i would lke to see the "UN edit" version.
It's hard to do that over the phone, but I think that's REALLY important too. I have to keep that in mind.
