This post is soo soo true. widening out is extremely important. Heres an example, and im sure since NJ circuits have almost all been changed..most of us can agree. Yesterday was our Special Day assembly...the first one with our new circuit. livy, u kno wha im tlkin bout cuz u were there n u know how it goes. COMPLETELY new people, and a totally different atmosphere then our old circuit. Anyway...im looking around during lunch and i spot "our congregation"'s group of young people standing around, and its just the regular 4 or 5 of them. Pretty much just standing there as if they had no idea where they were. Livy u KNO wha im tlkin about. im thinkin back about when i used to hang out wit this "group", but kinda left them because they are too much of a clique. Once i left that "clique" and decided to "widen out", i met a whole bunch of different people. its a good thing i did because once we changed circuits, i figured i wouldnt know anybody, but once i got inside the assembly hall, it turned out that i knew just as much, if not more of the brothers n sisters in this circuit, then our old one. all because of "widening out". its not wonder we're encouraged to do this, because as livy...we dont know where we're going to be when things happen, and the fact that changes are made in the organization...being able to adapt to new circumstances are important.
