I've found that living in PA, there's a lot of people that will just talk to you; when you're waiting in a line, for instance. I don't like this. I didn't initiate a conversation, don't talk to me. I'm finding that I'm becoming more and more misanthropic.
I'm always super sweet to my co-workers, those in the hall and my husband, of course, but I don't like strangers talking to me. As humans, I don't think we need that much interaction, anthropologically speaking.
so i took out the trash yesterday and an octupus dropped out of the sky and starting drawing thunderstorms with the ink in his sac, before I could levitate over the bi fold doors he challenged me to a race inside the future of a soda dispenser. There was orange soda just to let you know.

See, I love to talk to strangers, just not the annoying and/or smelly ones. The cool everday people online at target. Or at K-mart in the pet aisle.
Also, it's so much fun to make conversation with people throughout your day..those in the service industry. ie. Dunkin Donuts. I straight up chat it up with them! They even ask me how I'm doing when I roll up to the drive-thru! Especially out in service, my friend and I just say hi to everyone we see. I like to kill everyone with kindness, short and sweet, leave 'em wondering "Did I know her? She was nice, I wish I did" This however backfired today since people are now replying "Happy holidays!!!" No! No holidays!
Sometimes it's fun to tell random people that they're hot. This makes their day! Heck, it would make my week!
*general comment-As JW's, we're supposed to be kind and have true love for people. This should come across in our conduct and it does! I think people skills are very important and we should take the opportunity to sharpen them when we can. The more you talk to different people the better teacher you'll become in your ministry.
see, I dont' think telling random people they're hot is a good idea. I say this for two reasons.
1. That person will think "wow i'm hot!" and go through the rest of their life expecting to get anything they want simply based on looks. (See dictionary under "Thai Pham").
OR
2. That person will realize that they have no personality, no real depth, and just happen to be good-looking. If it wasn't for that, they would have no friends. And eventually, looks fade, leaving them crazy, sad, and alone. (See dictionary under "Mer-MAN!")
eh. Number 2 is irrelavent since it's a RANDOM person so you wouldn't know their personality. Number 2 would happen if that's the ONLY compliment they ever get and they are in fact hot. So let me be clearer..I like telling people who maybe don't get that so much. Everyone's hot in their own way! Ok, did I just make you say "gag me"?
i like talking to random people. i am loving the poeple that work at my local hollywood video cuz everytime i rent movies they tell me other really great movies to rent that i end up liking. or the girl that is always at mcdonalds when i go there.
