open a command prompt, and type this in, then hit enter. q[at 04:00 /every:M,T,W,Th,F shutdown -r -f -t 60]q

I think even for winNT systems this is an additional support resource not installed with base install, haven't seen it on XP, win2k, or win2k Adv Server

i tested it on XP, and it seemed like all the commands were there. i haven't installed any extras like that

hm, maybe it's cause i have cygwin installed.. maybe it's picking up the "at" command from that

which shutdown
/cygdrive/c/WINDOWS/system32/shutdown

So yeah, winXP has shutdown, didn't know that! I reboot my system everday afterwork manually anyway

Win2k doesn't though, I'm currently having this situation here at work because I need to sceduale a restart one time when im not here
