are you aware that dave grohl played all the instruments on the foo fighter's albums (at least the first one, not sure about the others). have you ever tried banging on drums and strumming a guitar at the same time? I have, and it sounded nothing like The Foos. Of course I don't have any musical talent, so that must explain it.
my comment reminded me of an article I read in Spin about them. They played the Halloween K-Rock show, and dressed up as The Hives and started off with "Hate to Say I Told You So" that was "dead-on". they are an awesome band. I'd love to see them live.
They were amazing in concert. I saw them two summers ago with RHCP. SO great. He put on such a good show...came into the audience and everything. I love the foo fighters

on the 1995 debut album "Foo Fighters" Dave Grohl plays all the instruments except for a guest guitarist on one song.
that's not really how it works... they use overdubbing. still, that's talent to play all those instruments
