It's so pinched/disrespectful...I've seen a few young wives that ALWAYS have to be right, even when they're wrong + bossy to boot. How they even became wives amazes me. If thier soooo much better, more intelligent, sooo great...why are they even with their husbands, if not only to degrade and belittle...some of the sweetest guys. Proverbs speaks of the capable wife not the obnoxious mouthy heffer.

to be honest i used to have a problem with the 'headship' thing when i was younger and i guess more rebellious (and not married)? Now I don't have a problem with it at all. I think it has to be handled correctly also, some brothers sometimes misuse the arrangment, and some sisters get crazy too ... what can i say we're all imperfect.

btw- i dont think that the husband really "gives" the wife freedom either. if you apply scriptural principles, both husband and wife will look for the others needs/wants first and their own needs/wants second. honor and respect-thats what its all about.
