I've never liked this dish. Sorry. I think it's the cream - I don't like cream sauces.
i usually use half heavy cream and the rest half-and-half. that way its just not so heavy and rich.
Haha - I always substitute the cream with white wine. Something about the texture of creamy sauces just makes me sick to my stomach.
i know what you mean, it is super rich. i like it, but if you use just the heavy cream u cant eat much
