it's funny how we talk over here too. i was with a freind of mind (white/salvadorean guy),and while wit hhim i talk normal. but when i'm talkin to other black people i get really ghetto. this even happens when i'm preaching. weird. example...asking for directions to the grove (this cool mall like place by hollywood)

normal : "umm, excuse me, do you know how we could get to the grove?"

talking to black people " hey, y'ow know 'ow i can get to the grove

or...while eating

normal: "can I have some more?"

other way "can'a ha suh moh" (phonetically written)
