checked urban dictionary, they say its a sound effect used in movies, they give the example of Indiana Jones. Guess its not something bad. Why'd you have to scare me like that?

so its like a generic scream used in many movies? ill have to see if i can listen for it, id probably recognize it. i read that its used in star wars, indiana jones, and more.

i read a while ago that back in some old movie there was a guy that screamed, and they sampled him doing a couple different ones, and every now and then directors will use them. I think this is the site i read about it a while back: http://www.hollywoodlostandfound.net/wilhelm/
