I once said something about a scripture in proverbs to a jewish co-worker, and she said something about how there's only 5 books in the bible and that proverbs isn't one of them. I said, 'Right, you're Jewish. You don't believe the other books are accurate." She said in a sterner voice, "There are only five books of the bible." I said, "Well, I believe the other books are accurate as well." "There are only five books in the bible. "Fine." It's like, you can be polite and admit what someone else believes without compromising your religion.
