People always talk to me in spanish (even if I talk to them in english first with an american accent) and always seem surprised when i dont know spanish!

this is my dad. hes from the ironbound part of newark and everyone always talks to him in spanish or portugese and he never has any idea what they're saying. so funny to me.

oh yea i do, in this grocery store down the street from my house. it's perfect because it's so close
