Thanks again for your PSpad suggestion, Ian. It's working out really well. The html on my firm's website is really messy and difficult for me to understand, but I'm working on it. I completely broke a page this morning, called Donovan freaking out, then sort of fixed it. It's still not viewing correctly, but I've had chocolate, so I'm not freaking out so much.
I thought I could use the editor to view the specific page I was editing, make my changes, then resave it on the ftp, but the images were completely screwed up. I still can't figure it out, but Donovan was nice enough to offer to come down here after work and look at the code. I swear, I thought I was going to scream.
Just a tip for when you do changes, always save the new as a different name. So like if a mistake is made, at least the original is still intact.
I more than 99.9% of the time use notepad for html editing.
But, I actually found something on the web called textpad (haven't used this or d/l'd, but it can be found here) http://www.textpad.com
Thanks! I learned the hard way to save under a new name. :)
