I think reminders are specific to each person's calendar, so if you're trying to get a reminder to pop up on everyone's screen as they're looking at a shared calendar, you can't. We use shared cal...

I mean, there might be some embedded setting that I don't know of, but I'm pretty sure the only reminder option you get, in the advanced options, are what kind of sound to play.
