i have never heard of half those, i think whoever wrote this story made those up... b for back? what the heck are u that lazy u cant type back? usually u only have abbreviations for a phrase not a ...

well, this is "AIM lingo". I guess no one ever abbreviated online before AIM came around, or abbreviates outside of AIM.
