for some reason my monitor here at work sees pictures so dark. but at home they are bright and clear.. like a sunshiney day.. but not here. so frustrating.

raise the brightness and contrast, and maybe reset the gamma to defaults.

done. still does nothing. thats what i'm confused about. i've done it all... short of installed a new video card and new monitor

why would i want to memorize that. what if some terrorist kidnapped me and used mind games to pull it out of me. i dont want that. i'd rather carry it around wherever i go.
