this looks more of a web server monitoring software then anything else, no?
That's mainly what they do, but they'll do server monitoring too, I think. I mean, they'll tell you when a server's down and give specific messages regarding the problem - that's what you need, right?

It gives detailed messages saying exactly what's wrong, no matter if you're using a web site server or any other kind of server. It's a really versatile product, and the best part (I think) is it can send you text messages, emails or other notifications saying your server's down. Then if you have remote ip access, you can fix it from your phone. Surf around the site (Donovan designed it!)
no it def sounds like something thats really sweet... not really what im looking for tho... my boss is being really picky about what he needs outta it.
this actually doesn't sound like what we need. This seems more for like webservers or webpage monitoring. We need regular server monitoring.
Well, keep in mind that using this service has a direct effect on Donovan and I... but I really think they're just promoting it for webserver monitoring, although it'll do everything. In fact, Donovan told me they're working with a few beta users to improve their non-webserver monitors. The benefit of their product is that it's constantly expanding, and they take seriously the emails they get for suggestions. So chances are, if you tried the product and realized an aspect didn't work for you, they'd change it to fit your needs.
The company is really small - if you shoot them an email and ask for it to be directed to Donovan, I'm sure he'll frankly tell you if the product can fit your needs or not.
