haha yeah... that's very telling, isn't it.
i've got a few hoops to jump through before i can get the site running a bit faster. i'm going to focus on rounding out the features before i work on performance, i think. so it'll be slow for a while.

You know, I don't find the performance truly heinous. Is it just me?
BTW 'mertle the turtle' is an appropriate mascot, a symbol of the vaterland, where ezabel had its origin. It is much better than all that road kill ya'll got. LOL
it's not THAT bad. I just see the slowness with musings page. Other parts seem faster.
