the only web work i've done was my own personal site, and that was hacked together using illustrator, photoshop, and dreamweaver, not the nice programming of this site.
Donovan's redesigning our site - maybe he could give you a few ideas. He's come up with like half a dozen designs that he's scrapped.
I actually got the current design (save the turtle) from Open Source Web Design. Sweet site.

Honestly, I prefer the "antiseptic" design for the reason that was mentioned: It's text-oriented enough to seem like work. Except for the turtle.
if that's what ian wants, then cool. i'll get used to it. whatever works.
I like Metro1. The others were't as good.
