So, i had a very awkward moment this morning, first one like this in a very long time.
2 mornings a week, i meet a girl from work at the gym, so as we're walking out, the front desk lady asks us if we could sign this huge banner at the gym that says "Thank you for your support" (The US troops) so my co-worker says Sure! and signs, and i was just like, uhhh, no thanks...
and what makes it even worse is that her husband is a marine.
very.awkward.moment.
did she ask you why or werent going to sign or just looked at you?
no, she actually didnt do either, it was just felt awkward for me...especially b/c i was quickly trying to come up with something tactful to say.
Isn't it weird how you take your stand for so many years on everything and then little things like that can throw you for a loop? I think that's happened to us all.
exactly, in school, stuff like this happend all the time so you were used to it...it feels different when it's only every once in a while.
