need new tires for my car... what do you guys think about these? user reviews seem good. I drive a 2005 Mazda 3 hatchback: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=ECST...
i personally love the BF Goodrich Traction T/A tires. Cheap, reliable, and good performance. Unfortunately none will fit your car.
also good are the Dunlap SP2's. Not as good as the BF Goodrich ones, but they're better than the ones you're looking at.
I hear ya! It is all about balance :-) You want to get some real tread wear / all season / good price.
All of which seem to fit the B-list manufacturers that have that size.
From my research, it looks like your car came with Goodyear RS-A's, is this correct? How did you like those? I have had them on a previous car, I didn't like the squeals I would get under hard cornering, (it upsets the passengers) and they wore out too quick. Plus they are crazy expensive for what you get!
I currently have Bridgestone Potenza RE050A II RFT's on my current car, I can't complain too much quiet, but a little too firm as they are runflats. I just checked the price on those and they aren't horrendously expensive.
So... in the end I haven't been any help. sorry
