oh i did. i love anytime a chauvenist jerk gets put in his place! i get so infuriated when they just assume you faint at the sight of work or dirt.
i had to go to the mechanic shop once for my car and I saw a help wanted sign. i was looking for a new job so i asked if they were looking for front desk help. he was like 'no, we're looking for mechanics and I wouldn't want you to break a nail'. seriously, i've had my nails done like 3 times in my life and then was not one of them. i was so mad, the comment was so unwarranted. i was just like whatever, i've been working on cars for like 10 yrs and i've never been afraid to break a nail before. bye.

yeah me to! i HATE guys like that...and why? why the attitude. i think it jsut makes them feel superior cause they cant feel that way among their male companions.

I mean i can understand, when you have I don't know, a 85 pound box of computer parts or something to carry and some guy comes up and says "hey let me help you with that" just out of kindness because 85 pounds is a lot for a ANYONE to carry, whatever
but take the same exact action and add attitude and a snarky comment like "wouldn't wantcha to break a nail" and i would seriously throw the 85 pound box on top of the guy
oh yeah def, theres a diff in a guy asking to help out as opposed to being stupid with stupid remarks.
that's way over the top. his social skills are seriously lacking if he's being openly and quite ignorantly chauvenistic to a young lady he doesn't know. guys like that just have lots of problems with women--throughout life. they might even hate woman to a point.
