This kind of reminds me of my job. I am a Mechanical Designer at a company that makes medical equipment. We design products using a 3D software called Solid Edge. In it you use a command called "Mates" to piece everything together in mechanical assemblies. Well apparently I am the only Designer that builds assemblies correctly. I'll go in an existing assembly and add a new part and I'll see washers, nuts, and bolts hanging in free space. So a change that should have taken 10 minutes took a few hours because I had to fix other peoples stupidity. I ended up sending an email to all of them stressing the importance of making sure all pieces are mated in proper positions. But they'll keep messing up. So I told my boss that I'll devise a test for any new hires, because obviously they are not hiring qualified people here.
