If your service overseer continually has the announcement made that the group meets for service Monday through Friday at 9 (Thursdays by arrangement) is it so silly to assume that if one were to go up to the hall on say...Tuesday there should be someone there to go out in service with?
hmm .. no, it's not silly.
Yeah, I'm feeling kind of frustrated now maybe a tinsy bit discouraged because I was all excited that I was going out and doing the right thing. I would have just slept in this morning a little.
I think the Belvidere cong only meets M-W-F, with no planned group tuesday and thursday. That must really be bad too. Even if no one showed, at least Jehovah knows you've tried. I was the only one a couple times, then a car group showed up like half an hour late, saying they'd gone out to breakfast. It's when you have to remind yourself we're an organization of imperfect people. :|
Maybe I should have waited longer...but I know Tuesday used to be a small if sometimes non-existant group. That was years ago, though, and I thought at least a brother would be there to take the group out if they keep saying that there is service on Tuesdays! Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays tooons of people go out, so I guess I'll just try again tomorrow.
And I did try :) So yaaay.
