Weird.
Yesterday morning, while I checked my e-mail, my sister was flipping channels. She stopped on Comedy Central and the first thing we hear is "Did you know Jehovah's Witnesses can run 35mph." Then the guy just went on to another joke.
Then my one professor was asking us to call her Dr. J because people butcher her name so badly and she's even gotten called "Dr. Jehovah's Witness" before. Odd.
So, I'm sitting in Dr. J's class and I look at the kid in front of me and he has the daily text sticking out of his pocket. I went up and introduced myself to him later; he's from the Cherry Hill Newark congregation.
it seems like there has been more and more stuff on TV about JWs. On the MTV show a couple weeks ago...TRUE LIFE: i'm in an inter-religion relationship. and the one girl was a JW (not baptized) married to a protestant or something. they showed the KH and even a clip of the brother giving the public talk. it was so weird and cool.
I caught the second half of the that true life, i didn't think that it put witnesses in a bad light. they day I saw that true life, right after it was exposed and there was this disassociated witness that I know who was on it, and she turned into a huge slut.
oh really, weird. yea, on true life it said all good things. but i'm happy that they kept making mention to the fact that she wasnt baptised. because she was going to other churches to find "the truth". but she said she was sticking w/ JWs by the end.
i also liked how
it showed her decorating a christmas tree at the end of the show, lol.
anyone hear the Z100 phonetap from yesterday? i don't listen to z100 really, but a few people at work told me about it. i'll try and find a link. basically, it involved witnesses.
Yeh! I saw that too!
has anybody else seen the super pioneer thing on youtube with superman? alison showed it to me and i could not believe it.
